ख्वाहिशें (Wishes)

दिल क्यों हज़ारों ख्वाहिशें बनाता है,
जब कुछ-एक ही पूरी कर पाता है,
चलो अच्छी बात है की फिर भी हारता नही,
लिस्ट लंबी ही करता जाता है

Why does it wish for a thousand things?
When it can only achieve a few,
But its good that it doesn't accept defeat,
And keeps on adding up to the list

Delhi ... My city, My home

Well, a topic close to my heart.
Delhi, a city full of memories for me …
I was born there, walked my first step, & did all my education there.
The city is old, new, vibrant, dull, charming, vast, alive & kicking. It fascinates me anyway :)
& I am likely to be there next weekend. It’s a short trip, of 8-9 days.
